Membership of the Tamar Trotters is open to runners of all abilities, from the complete beginner to the seasoned athlete. Whatever your pace you will find someone to run with.

Our current annual membership fees are as follows:

  • Adult New Member*- Non Affiliated- £51
  • Adult New Member*- EA Affiliated**- £70
  • Adult Member Renewal – Non Afffiliated – £35
  • Adult Member Renewal – EA Affiliated** – £54
  • Couch to 5K Course*** – £20
  • Couch to 5K Graduate (First Year)*  – Non Affiliated – £31
  • Couch to 5K Graduate (First Year)* – Affiliated** – £50

Annual membership runs from 1st April to 31st March each year

* New membership includes a club vest.
New memberships received after 31st January will be charged the full fee and membership will run from date of joining to 31st March the following year.

** Affiliation with England Athletics costs £19, which entitles you to a £2 discount on many race entries.

*** On completion of the Couch to 5K course, if you wish to join the Tamar Trotters the £20 cost of the course will be deducted from the new membership fee.

Club nights are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Meet from 6:45pm. Runs start at 7:00pm and last for one hour.

We run in timed groups of different speeds. There will always be a group running at your pace.

Membership of the Tamar Trotters includes social membership of the Saltash Rugby Club. We have use of the Rugby Club House on training nights including hot showers and free tea and coffee on each training night. On Thursday evenings the bar is open from 8:30pm

Apart from the normal Tuesday and Thursday evening training runs we also organise longer runs on Sunday mornings.
